Zachari Logan: The Blooming Skin

02.17.23 - 04.22.23

Works included in THE BLOOMING SKIN continue Zachari Logan’s exploration of interrelation, mortality and embodied representations of land. The drawings and paintings that comprise this exhibition employ a mixture of observed, recalled and imagined forms as metaphors for exuberance, resilience and queer re-wilding. References to art history, literature and personal experience exist alongside meditations on historical personages as wide ranging as Goethe, Joan of Arc and Austrian painter, Oscar Kokoschka.
