ArtsATL: What to see, do and hear: Alvin Ailey, Drivin N Cryin, “White Chip,” much more

On Friday, the Wolfgang Gallery will host an opening reception for The Blooming Skina solo exhibit of works by Canadian artist Zachari Logan. The drawings and paintings express exuberance, resilience and queer re-wilding. References to art history, literature and personal experience exist alongside meditations on historical figures as diverse as Goethe, Joan of Arc and Austrian painter Oskar Kokoschka. 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
