ArtsATL: What to see, do and hear: Alvin Ailey, Drivin N Cryin, “White Chip,” much more
On Friday, the Wolfgang Gallery will host an opening reception for The Blooming Skin, a solo exhibit of works by Canadian artist Zachari Logan. The drawings and paintings express exuberance, resilience and queer re-wilding. References to art history, literature and personal experience exist alongside meditations on historical figures as diverse as Goethe, Joan of Arc and Austrian painter Oskar Kokoschka. 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
